About
This event is a part of our trans event series funded by Manchester Pride. All of these sessions will be delivered by and for trans people. For this walk we're also welcoming friends & partners of trans people: we trust you to know if this space is for you.
We are off on a nice trans wander round Daisy Nook!
We will be having a look around Daisy Nook country park, working together to identify any interesting fungi, flora and fauna we come across - we aren't experts but we'd love you to help out with identifying and talking about what we find. Feel free to bring any field guides or hand lenses if you have them.
We'll be meeting in the car park of Daisy Nook at 1pm and setting off shortly after - we'll send out an email a few days before the event with exactly whereabouts we'll be.Â
This isn't a foraging walk, but we might find wild edibles while we are there. Please always be 100% sure of what you've found before you eat it.
All ages welcome as well as well-behaved dogs, though under-18s will need to be accompanied by an adult.
Please email hello@mycomanchester.com with any questions!
