Mushroom Bed Cultivation Workshop

Ever wanted to learn how to grow mushrooms as a secondary crop on your vegetable beds? In this workshop we explore the science of mushroom cultivation and give you a hands-on opportunity to innoculate a bed with King Stropharia (Stropharia rugosoannulata).  

King stropharia, aka Wine Cap, is a delicious mushroom that is nice and straightforward to identify. We'll make sure that you have an ID guide and we'll chat through the best way to identify whatever crops up!  

Please note that this is a dirty workshop. We will bring gloves but please dress accordingly and make sure you have sturdy footwear.   

We'll be offering small boxes of substrate that you can take home and innoculate your own bed with.
